The road of light went dark.

Once, a single road of light ran through four worlds and held them together. They called it the Line. Then one day it went dark, and the cosmos began, very slowly, to come apart.

Nothing can light it again from the outside. Only runners can. And one family never stopped running.

Six heroes, one family, and every one of them is a character of their own: a calm father who always brings everyone home, a mother who listens to the Line, a daughter with no brakes, a son who has mapped every shortcut, a dreamer who hums the relays awake, and the youngest, always a step ahead.

They talk to you while you run. They cheer when you break a record, warn you when something is falling from the sky, and crack a joke when the road gets wild. Pick the one who feels like you, and watch them grow in mastery with every kilometre.

One road. Three ways to stay on it.

Swipe across the lanes, leap the barriers, slide under the beams and blast the robots in your way. When the track turns to water or ice, jump on a board and surf it. When the rings appear, take to the sky and thread them one by one.

Glowing tunnels carry you from one biome to the next, and the whole world can bend beneath your feet like a tiny planet, or stay flat, as you like it.

No two runs are the same. A new biome around the bend, a new danger in your lane, a new record within reach: every run is an adventure worth discovering.

IIIEvery world fights back

The Line runs through places that don't want to be crossed.

Beehives in the forest. Apples raining down in autumn. Rockfalls in the canyon, icicles on the glacier, coconuts on the coast. Starfall over the Cloud Kingdom, meteor showers in the asteroid field, crystals crashing down in the caverns, and robots everywhere you look.

One hit ends the run. Read the road, keep your nerve, and find the line nobody else sees.

Nothing in your kit is just for show.

  • WeaponsClear the robots in your lane before they clear you. Some even fire on their own.
  • PetsA friend at your shoulder that pulls its weight: one hunts down the robot you missed, one sweeps up the coins, one throws a shield around you.

VIClimb the season

Every kilometre counts.

Each month a new season starts, and every kilometre you run climbs the leaderboard. Finish high and the season chest is yours: the higher, the richer. Each week one world is the featured world, and the distance you bank there counts double.

Beat your record and your hero shouts it out. Then share the card and let everyone know.

The further you run, the more of the Line wakes up behind you, and the more of its story you uncover. A relay that switches on by itself. An answer from far above the sky. Old lights left by builders long before your family. And one question nobody can answer yet.

Good to know

What kind of game is JoltyHero?

A high-speed endless runner. Swipe to switch lanes, jump and slide, blast robots out of the way, ride boards and fly, and see how far one run can take you through four living worlds.

When and where can I play it?

JoltyHero is launching soon on iPhone, iPad and Android. We announce the date on the studio's Instagram, YouTube and Facebook first.

How much does it cost?

JoltyHero is free to download and play. It is supported by ads and optional in-app purchases, such as outfits and coin packs; none of them is needed to enjoy the game.

Which phones and tablets can run it?

Android phones and tablets with Android 7.1 or newer, and iPhone or iPad with iOS 16 or newer. Settings has graphics presets and a battery saver mode.

How is my progress saved?

Your progress saves by itself on your device and in your own account: Google Play Games on Android (signed in by itself, no password), iCloud on iPhone and iPad. On a new phone with the same account, it comes back. Purchases that last (like NO ADS) can also be restored from Settings › Privacy › Restore purchases.

Is it suitable for children?

JoltyHero is made for players aged 16 and over and is not directed at children. Its ads are limited to content suitable for teenagers. Its official age rating will show on its store page.

I found a bug. How do I tell you?

Write to contact@joltyhero.com with your phone's model, its system version and what happened; a screenshot helps a lot. In the game, Settings › Feedback › Bug report sends it straight to us. The Support page answers the most common questions.

How do I delete my progress or my data?

Open Settings › Privacy › Delete progress to wipe your save at once. Everything else, including copies in your phone's backup, is on the Delete your data page.
